Your recommendations will be strongly considered in forming the basis of final action by field office leadership.
  • You will review pre-final contract drawings and specifications (including technical RFPs) with respect to constructability and compatibility with actual field conditions.
  • You will participate in pre-award contract meetings, such as Functional Analysis Concept Development (FACDs) meetings and constructability reviews.
  • Coordinate post-award contract meetings, such as post-award kickoff meetings, preconstruction conferences, informal or formal partnering meetings, schedule acceptance meetings, design review meetings, LEED coordination meetings (if necessary), Facility Turnover Planning Meetings, and final inspections.
  • Review contractor administrative submittals, such as schedules (both bar charts and networks); environmental protection plans; design and construction quality control plans; health and safety and accident prevention plans; coordinate reviews and recommend approval or rejection of technical “Government-approved” submittals, such as shop drawings, product data, samples, design data, manufacturer’s instructions, test plans/reports, certificates, and O&M data, on deadline.
  • Visit construction sites to monitor progress and solicit input from the Engineering Technician/Quality Assurance (ET/QA) representatives; review CQC reports and attend QC meetings. Recommend necessary action to assure contractor’s quality control program is provided in accordance with the contract requirements and that three phases of quality control are being utilized.
  • Based on technical knowledge and coordination with designer and construction contractor, provide technical solutions to unforeseen problems during construction.
  • Assist with preparation of sketches and drawings in support of negotiations and issuance of project modifications.
  • Provide technical support for claims/disputes/terminations processing, negotiation, and resolution.
  • Review and recommend approval of contractors' schedules of prices as the basis for payments and invoices. Provide recommendations for retainage and/or withholding of funds as required.
  • Document and monitor each contractor’s technical compliance and progress relative to assigned contracts or task orders.
  • Review construction contractor quarterly reports that were submitted to the Contract Officer documenting the contractor’s
  • Progress, identify any problems/issues with the contractor’s performance and recommend possible notice or action to be taken by the Contract Officer. Include any significant quality and performance failures in a report to the Contract Officer (such as adverse QA reports, non-compliance notices, deficiencies or delays).
  • Document and report any known or perceived vulnerability to fraud associated with any contract or task order you are monitoring.
  • Other construction management-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • In accordance with federal regulations, possession of a valid Real ID is a requirement for this position.
  • A degree in engineering from a four-year accredited Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) university or an architecture degree from a National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) accredited university OR a degree in construction management or engineering technology from a four-year accredited Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) university.

Key Qualifications

Who You Are:

About the Role: In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person and virtual customers who use Intuit TurboTax products.

Your primary focus will be full-service tax return preparation, providing expert tax advice, calculations, and software support, but your responsibility extends beyond that. You will be the connective tissue between your customers and a broader team of specialists covering business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services. This is not a hand-off model. You will sit in the same customer meetings, absorb the same context, and build a shared understanding of each customer's complete financial picture, then work in lock-step with the right experts to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience.

Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical. Taxes can be stressful, and your presence as a trusted, knowledgeable guide makes all the difference whether you're helping with a straightforward W-2 filing, navigating a major life event like marriage, a new child, or elder care, or tackling more complex scenarios involving business income, investments, or amendments.

Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax’s client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to empower you in building a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community.

This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. 

What You’ll Do:

Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. 

Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. As a primary driver of local growth, you will own your market — identifying and pursuing prospects through targeted outreach, grass-roots marketing initiatives, referral networks, and community partnerships. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long-term clients. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop-ups, and networking gatherings with the support of TurboTax marketing tools and resources, to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness.

Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with the Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward. As you build relationships through tax engagements and collaborative client meetings, identify opportunities to introduce clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma that meaningfully address their needs. Key Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
  • Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
  • Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
  • Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
  • Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
  • Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
  • Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
  • Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
